Online Sewing Circle with Nancy

Sewing with Nancy OVEE ScreeningMy friend David, the online manager at Wisconsin Public Television, recently called to ask if I’d be interested in hosting an online OVEE screening of Sewing With Nancy’s 30th Anniversary Special. It sounded like a fun event, so I gladly accepted.

I then needed to grasp what is an online OVEE screening? I learned OVEE is a new online service for watching your favorite PBS programs. You can watch together with other viewers, from anywhere, providing you have a good internet connection. Plus you can chat live with the host-that’s me!

What a great idea! Now I can host live video screenings of Sewing With Nancy and interact with viewers simultaneously. Well, let’s give it a first try. Please join me on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. CST on April 24, 2013.

500 viewers will have the opportunity to participate and “chat” with me during the screening. During the screening, you’ll type questions asking me anything that comes to mind (well, almost anything) and I’ll type my replies. We’re excited to try out a new way to watch Sewing With Nancy.

Please join us on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. CST on April 24 and let us know what you think of this new video screening event.

The online OVEE screening will be facilitated by David at Wisconsin Public Television and his colleague, Libby from KLRU PBS Station in Austin, TX.

Visit the Sewing With Nancy’s 30th Anniversary Special OVEE session page today for a sneak peek. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and to test your browser, flash player, and to run a test to make sure OVEE works properly on your computer.

Then, tune in on April 24, Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. CST and join the fun.

I’m looking forward to hosting and to you joining me for the first ever, live OVEE video screening of Sewing With Nancy.

Bye for now,

Nancy Zieman
